Course Description: This wet lab session introduces canine abdominal ultrasound techniques. You receive hands-on instruction based on an organ-specific approach. Each scanning station accommodates no more than four participants along with a board-certified radiologist. All participants will rotate within and between individual stations so that every animal in the laboratory will be scanned by each participant using a wide variety of machines. Note that this lab will be strictly educational (not an equipment “infomercial”). Price will increase on 12/15/09 to $595. For full details, visit www.wvc.org.

Course Description: This basic level seminar will cover material that is applicable to veterinarians and vet technicians who are new to ultrasound or would like to reemphasize their basic knowledge. This course qualifies for 16 hours of C.E. credits and it will encompass both lecture and hands on experience. During the wet lab, participants will gain experience using a variety of ultrasound systems.
