  • SAVMA 2010 Canine Ultrasound Lab

    Time: Saturday pre-lab lecture 11:00am-12:00pm at Monona Terrace; Lab 1:00-5:30pm at School of Veterinary Medicine, Room MD-2

    Where: University of Wisconsin Madison VMTH

    Cost: Before Jan. 15, 2010: $75 symposium fee, plus $12 ultrasound wetlab fee Symposium fee increases to $100 after Jan. 15, 2010 and to $125 after Feb. 1, 2010.

    Course Description: Open to veterinary students only. Students will learn principles of ultrasound while they gain familiarity with the machines and have the opportunity to practice on live animals. Students will rotate through stations where they will practice ultrasound on gel phantoms along with various abdominal organs on live dogs. Limited to 16 students.
