Aloka Showcases ProSound Alpha 7 During Live Ultrasound Scanning at Western Veterinary Conference

Live Canine Ultrasound Scanning at Western Veterinary Conference, Aloka Booth 605

Wallingford, Conn.—February 8, 2010—Aloka Co., Ltd., announced today that it will demonstrate the advanced features and performance of its ProSound Alpha 7 ultrasound system configured for veterinary use during live canine scanning at Aloka booth 605 at Western Veterinary Conference, in Las Vegas, NV, February 15-16, 2010.
“Veterinarians will see for themselves the outstanding color, penetration, and diagnostic capabilities of the ProSound Alpha 7,” said Robert Reach, RDCS and Veterinary Applications Manager for Aloka. Mr. Reach will be conducting the live ultrasound scanning at the Aloka booth and will be available to answer diagnostic and technical questions from veterinarians.
Aloka Ultrasound, known in the veterinary industry for its systems durability, reliability and image quality, will also feature the ProSound Alpha 7 during hands-on ultrasound labs (registration required) at the Western Veterinary Conference’s Oquendo Center on February 16, 2010.
The ProSound Alpha 7’s compact, ergonomic design features a large, programmable touch screen for quick access to frequently-used controls. The ProSound Alpha 7 is mobile, economical, and environmentally friendly, with reduced power consumption. The system is designed for all veterinary applications and has won particular favor with internal medicine, radiology and cardiology boarded veterinarians.
The live ultrasound scanning at the Aloka booth will be done using greyhounds generously supplied by the Greyhound Pets of America Southern Nevada (GPA Las Vegas).
