David R. Famiglietti
CEO/General Manager

Mr. Famiglietti has over 35 years of experience in the Medical Device/Health Care arenas and joined Hitachi Aloka in 1996. He held the positions of VP Customer Service and Executive VP before being promoted to the position of COO in 2002. As CEO/General Manager, he manages all aspects of Hitachi Aloka's USA business operations including direct sales management responsibilities for all US Markets.

During Mr. Famiglietti's tenure as CEO/General Manager, the company has successfully launched several new products and technologies, entered new market segments, established several corporate strategic alliances, and consistently achieved both revenue and profit growth.

Prior to joining Hitachi Aloka, Mr. Famiglietti held various technical and management positions with responsibilities both within the USA and internationally for Marquette Electronics and Corometrics Medical Systems. He holds degrees in both Electronic Engineering and Business Management.

Ray Koba, CPA

Mr. Koba is responsible for the management of Financial and Warehouse Operations.

Mr. Koba started his career in public accounting and gained exposure to a wide variety of business environments as an auditor and an audit manager. Moving to private industry, he has extensive experience in various service business environments including medical equipment maintenance, printing , finance and estate management.

Mr. Koba is a graduate of Central Connecticut State College and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Matthew Oblon
Director of Service

Mr. Oblon has over 26 years of experience in the industry. As National Service Manager he manages all aspects of Hitachi Aloka's USA service operations.

He held pervious technical and management positions for various medical device companies. Mr. Oblon is a member of The Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) and Association for Services Management International (AFSMI)

Thomas Oko
Manager of Marketing

Mr. Oko joined Hitachi Aloka in July 2006. In 2010 Mr. Oko was promoted to Marketing Manager and is responsible for all the marketing functions for Hitachi Aloka’s various market segments. Mr. Oko has over 19 years of experience in the medical device and health care industry having previously held management positions in sales and marketing, product development and operations. Mr. Oko graduated from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Angela Van Arsdale
Regulatory Affairs/Quality Assurance Manager

Mrs. Van Arsdale joined Hitachi Aloka in October 2012 as the Regulatory Affairs/Quality Assurance Manager. Her responsibilities include the management and coordination of all Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance functions. Prior to joining Hitachi Aloka, Mrs. Van Arsdale had 19 years of healthcare experience within hospital and private practice settings and 7 years of U.S. and International Medical Device regulatory experience. Mrs. Van Arsdale received her Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management from Albertus Magnus College and is an active member of the R.A.P.S. (Regulatory Affairs Professional Society).

Randy R. Baraso
Manager of Business Development and Strategy

Mr. Baraso has over 15 years experience in the medical device industry, and joined Hitachi Aloka through their OBGYN distributor, Corometrics Medical Systems in 1993 as a Sales Representative in the Midwest. In 1996, Mr Baraso joined Hitachi Aloka directly as a Sales Representative in the Southeast where he consistently exceeded company objectives.

In his current position of Manager of Business Development and Strategy, Mr Baraso is responsible for establishing alliances and partnerships with other medical firms that contribute to Hitachi Aloka's growth in traditional and non-traditional market segments.

Prior to joining Hitachi Aloka, Mr. Baraso has held various sales positions in the medical industry. He received degrees in Business Management from Indiana University.

Kristen Provo
Human Resources Manager

Mrs. Provo joined Hitachi Aloka in July, 2006 as Human Resources Manager. In her current role, she is responsible for personnel decisions including recruiting, retention, training, benefits, and compensation. Prior to joining Hitachi Aloka, Mrs. Provo held numerous human resources positions which assisted in the expansion of Hitachi Aloka’s HR department. Mrs. Provo received her B.A. in Human Relations from Western Connecticut State University and holds a M.S. in Management from Albertus Magnus College. She is an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management.

John Waddell
National Sales Manager

Mr. Waddell joined the Executive Team after the successful merger and integration of Hitachi and Aloka ultrasound sales organizations. In 1998, after nearly a decade in hospital supply sales, Mr. Waddell began his capital equipment career with Hitachi Medical Systems America’s X-ray Division, in Houston, Texas. In 2000, he became an MRI Sales Specialist and relocated to the San Francisco, where he achieved multiple years of outstanding sales achievement. Mr. Waddell was promoted to Ultrasound Regional Sales Manager, in 2004, and subsequently, National Sales Manager, after Hitachi formed a direct sales channel. In his current position with Hitachi Aloka Medical, Ltd., Mr. Waddell is responsible for the growth of sales in our direct activities in radiology, surgery, urology, radiation oncology, perinatology, gynecology, wound care, and other applications for diagnostic medical ultrasound. Mr. Waddell received his M.B.A. in Finance from Our Lady of the Lake University, and his undergraduate B. S in Marketing from Indiana University.
